Smoothe

A short story to introduce an idea of light intervention aside a medieval context.

The video focuses mostly on the potentials of the project by Foreign Office Architects for this example of prime retail space in Southampton (England) by expressing lightness and sensitivity towards context.

After a 30 second opening illustrating elements of the architecture from origami folds, Smoothe designers - commissioned by Hammerson Plc - uses the city's medieval walls as a backdrop for their virtual setting - inhabited only by ethereal figurines - in order to communicate the future atmosphere and life of the Centre.
