About

Francesco Lipari is a Sicilian architect based in Rome. He's founding principal of OFL Architecture, an interdisciplinary architectural practice focused on emergent design processes through a design methodology that integrates architecture with other disciplines, redefining the relationship of the significant modern city and its current urban conditions. Lipari is also founding partner and artistic director of Cityvision, an original printed magazine and architecture platform with the aim of generating a dialogue between the contemporary city and its future image. He was formerly senior architect at Fuksas office in Rome, Mad in Beijing and 3gatti in Shanghai. He is involved in the sociological project "Farm Cultural Park" which aim is to turn, through contemporary art and architecture, the whole historical centre of Favara (Italy) into the second tourist attraction after the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. Lipari's work has been exhibited in the "Cut 'n' Paste: From Architectural Assemblage to Collage City" exhibition at MoMA and at WUHO Gallery Los Angeles which hosted the first release of the "Worlds of Cityvision" exhibition. He is managing the Pecha Kucha Night in Rome and he's been writing for Wired Italia since 2013.
